DC Corporate Office Branch

See below how I blended branding standards and interior design together within a small branch office located in Washington DC.

Branding meets interior finishes

Successful communication of branding through interior finishes is enjoyable and gratifying. This project was especially so, given I was apart of the branding team to roll-out a new logo, colors, fonts, etc. across the entire company of 100+ locations. Taking my intimate knowledge of the 108 page branding standards booklet, I came up with an interior finish palette to coordinate! I focused on the circular elements, main colors of lime green (not too much of course!) and light blue, and visual movement to depict the brand of a company that is “reimaging care.” I wanted to evoke an excitement, a lively work environment - to draw in talent and an uplifting office culture.

Space Planning

I absolutely love to space plan, is the long and short of it! Achieving the perfect balance of functionality and aesthetic are my top priorities. When I’m ready to bring finishes into the mix… I’m thinking about acoustics, traffic, and making a statement. I created this rendered floor plan to visually communicate the floor plan and associated finishes to the stakeholders.

Bringing it to life

Quite possibly my favorite past-time… creating visualizations. Why? Because I'm so excited about the design, I want to share my vision as soon as possible with the stakeholders. A great rendering can be the difference between a project getting funded, or not! They serve such a profound purpose to communication design.
